Alvaro Morata to start against Fulham? – Predicted Chelsea line-up to face Claudio Ranieri’s men

Another London derby comes calling for Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday. Our last derby didn’t go well with Tottenham outplaying us 3-1 at Wembley, but we are at home this time around as we take on Fulham.

Claudio Ranieri is in charge of the Cottagers, and even with Fulham not being the best side in the Premier League, they will not be an easy team to face.

Maurizio Sarri will change his side around after their Europa League clash, and here is our predicted line-up for the Blues.

Predicted Chelsea XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Maurizio Sarri

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK)

Kepa was not great in our loss to Tottenham, and the Spaniard needs to pick things up against the Cottagers.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB)

The Spaniard needs to have a good game and he will also be important in our attacks with his runs.

Anotnio Rudiger
Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

Rudiger was another player that seemed to be missing in Chelsea’s loss to Spurs, and hopefully, the German puts a quality performance on Sunday.

David Luiz (CB)

Luiz was possibly the worst player out there against Spurs, and he needs to change that if we are to keep Fulham from scoring.

Marcos Alonso (LB)

The left-back will be crucial to our attacks as he will look to provide support down the wing.

N’Golo Kante (CM)

Kante looked a little out of place against Spurs, and hopefully, he puts in a decent performance playing ahead of Jorginho.

Jorginho Chelsea

Jorginho (CM)

The Italian was taken out of the game with Spurs doing a great job. Jorginho needs to be at his best, and cannot be overwhelmed by the Fulham midfield.

Mateo Kovacic (CM)

Kovacic hasn’t impressed much in recent weeks, but we should see the Croatian start on Sunday.

Eden Hazard (LW)

Hazard has a minor knock and it will be interesting to see if we play him or not. However, we need him to ensure our attack fires on all cylinders.

Alvaro Morata (ST)

Morata should get a run out against our London rivals and the Spaniard really needs a goal.

Willian (RW)

The Brazilian should be one of the players to keep an eye on as Fulham’s defence is leaky, to say the least.
