Chelsea star Eden Hazard will wait until January to decide on his future, according to the Telegraph (h/t Daily Star).
The report claims that the Belgian will wait until the managerial situation at Real Madrid has been cleared. The La Liga giants sacked Julen Lopetegui after a poor start, and have named Santi Solari as their interim manager.
Roberto Martinez is currently leading the race to become the Madrid manager, according to the report, and that could be a tantalizing proposition for Hazard.
The Chelsea attacker is managed by Martinez in the Belgian national side, and it will be interesting to see who could replace Solari in the next weeks.
Madrid recently lost to Barcelona 5-1 in the El Clasico, and Lopetegui was sacked shortly after the humiliating loss.
Hazard, for his part, has enjoyed a spectacular start to the Premier League campaign. Chelsea have been doing extremely well as they are unbeaten in all competitions.
The attacker picked up a slight injury in our 2-2 draw against Manchester United but could be fit for Sunday’s clash against Crystal Palace.
The Belgian has been linked with a move to Madrid (h/t Daily Star), however, the uncertainty around the club could work in our favour.
