Bayern Munich are leading the chase to sign Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to the Sun.
The youngster’s contract at Chelsea ends in 18 months, and the report claims that Bayern want him in the winter window.
Hudson-Odoi only has 36 minutes of football to his name with two appearances in the Europa League. The Bundesliga has become a great league for young English stars to rack up starts and develop with Jadon Sancho starring for Borussia Dortmund this season and Reiss Nelson doing well at Hoffenheim.
The report claims that Juventus, Arsenal and Barcelona are interested in the 18-year-old. The report adds that Bayern missed out on Sancho and don’t want to lose out on someone they see as a future replacement for Franck Ribery.
Hudson-Odoi would find it hard to get starts under Maurizio Sarri, as we have the likes of Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian in the side.
Sarri also had his say about the youngster, and wanted the player to improve a lot:
“He has to improve a lot. First of all in the defensive phase.
“He has to work and he is very good in the one on one, but he has to move without the ball.
“The potential he is a very good player, but he has to work. But this is normal. He is 18. I want to find space for him. It is not easy because we have 28 players.”

A loan deal seeing the 18-year-old leave would be great for the club too, and hopefully, we see Hudson-Odoi develop and come back to Chelsea rather than see him leave.
