Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has piqued the interest of Chelsea, according to the Mirror.
The Brazilian has struggled for game time under Jose Mourinho this season and will be out of contract at the end of the season, as per the report.
United have an option to extend his stay by another year but the Mirror claims they are ready to “cash in” on the 22-year-old.
The Brazilian has played just 158 minutes of Premier League football this season, last appearing for the Red Devils in the 2-2 draw against us.
The report adds that the player wants to stay in England and Arsenal are interested in the 22-year-old. There is interest from other clubs with Monaco, Inter Milan and Valencia keeping a tab on Pereira.
The 22-year-old would be a decent option to have on the side and the report adds that the Brazilian would be worth £10m. However, that amount would double based on his performances at his new club.
Chelsea have a number of midfield options but the report claims that there would be a few departures from the club at the end of the season.
The Blues could nip and sign the player on the cheap in the winter window and it will be interesting to see our transfer activity in January.
