Alvaro Morata to start? – Predicted Chelsea line-up to face Tottenham

Chelsea are yet to taste defeat in any competition this season but face a tough tie post the international break. We face Tottenham at Wembley and could put more misery on our rivals with a win on Saturday.

Spurs have already lost to top four hopefuls Liverpool and Manchester City this season, and we certainly can pick up the three points at the weekend.

There is just one concern for Maurizio Sarri as Mateo Kovacic seems to have picked up an injury during the break. The Croatian didn’t feature in the loss over England, but barring that, Chelsea should have a full-strength side to face Spurs.

We do have a midweek Europa League tie to look into, and here is our predicted starting XI for the Blues.

Predicted Chelsea XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Maurizio Sarri

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK)

The Spaniard has grown in confidence since joining us in the summer and needs to have a great game if we are to get all the three points.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB)

Azpilicueta is possibly one of our most consistent players and should start unless he has some issues.

David Luiz (CB)

Luiz seems to be enjoying his football at Chelsea and should start under Sarri on Saturday.

Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

The German will have a tough time going up against Harry Kane, and he needs to win this battle to keep us in the game.

Marcos Alonso (LB)

Alonso’s darts into the opposition half will be important as we look to beat Spurs on Saturday.

Jorginho (CM)

The Italian is another key element under Sarri and needs to have a better game than the one against Everton in the previous week.

N’Golo Kante (CM)

Kante is one of the best players in the world and it would be a huge shock if he didn’t face our London rivals.

Ross Barkley (CM)

Kovacic’s injury could provide a chance for Barkley to start against Spurs.

Eden Hazard (LW)

The Belgian didn’t have a great time in the Nations League after Belgium lost to Switzerland, and that could see him turn up the style against Tottenham on Saturday.

Alvaro Morata (ST)

It’s a tough call on who should start as the striker for Chelsea, but we will give the nod to Morata for this tie.

Willian (RW)

The Brazilian could be another player having a great time against the Spurs defence as he should face Ben Davies.
