Eden Hazard has been by far the best player in the Premier League this season. The Belgian has scored six goals and provided two assists from seven league games, propelling Chelsea to third place in the table.
The Blues are unbeaten in all competitions and the attacker has been at the centre of all good things.
He was on target against Liverpool in an enthralling Premier League game but spoke about his desire to play in Spain.
The former Lille forward was quoted by BT Sport (h/t Metro) as saying:
“I will tell you the truth, after the World Cup, I wanted to leave, because my dream is to play in Spain.”
The Belgian claimed he spoke to the board and manager and decided to stay in London.
“I’m happy here, to stay I think was the right decision.”
Keeping hold of Hazard should count as one of Maurizio Sarri’s crucial victories at Chelsea. Now, we can see a player in incredible form.
We need him to play well to win a trophy this season. However, some fans on Twitter were worried about his future.
