Ross Barkley saved Chelsea from their first defeat of the season with a last-minute goal against Manchester United.
The game was a topsy-turvy affair as we took the lead via Antonio Rudiger. However, Anthony Martial scored a brace and it seemed we were destined to lose our unbeaten start to the season.
Barkley, who is enjoying a new lease on life under Maurizio Sarri, came on as a sub and smashed in the equaliser.
The Englishman has seen his stock rise in recent weeks as he scored and assisted in our 3-0 win over Southampton. The 24-year-old played in England’s games against Croatia and Spain, and now scored his first ever goal at the Bridge.
The former Evertonian endured a tough season last time around with injuries but looks a different player now.
Needless to say, a number of our fans were pleased with the output from the midfielder so far and praised him on Twitter.
