Ross Barkley seems to have found his feet at Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri. The Englishman struggled under Antonio Conte last season and barely played due to a number of injuries.
This season, we have seen the former Everton man do extremely well in the recent weeks and he scored yet another goal in our 4-0 win over Burnley.
Barkley assisted two goals in the win and the Chelsea Twitter account shared an interesting bit of trivia on the Englishman’s scoring antics.
The 24-year-old became the first Englishman to score in three successive Premier League games for us since the great Frank Lampard.
Lampard was a hotshot from midfield but Barkley isn’t doing all that bad in this campaign. The English midfielder’s form saw him being called up for the national side during the last international break too.
A number of Chelsea fans were pleased that the youngster is coming good at the club, after a terrible season last time around.
