Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger will be out of action during the international break. The German picked up an injury during the final minutes of our 3-0 win over Southampton and posted an update on Twitter.
I won’t be available for the @dfb_team for the upcoming 2 matches due to a groin problem. I will do some individual training sessions during the int. break and I’m confident to be back soon👊🏾 Best of luck to my German teammates for the next 2 games 🇩🇪🙏🏾 #Hustle #AlwaysBelieve

The good news is that the player expects to take part in some training sessions during the break. Rudiger started all eight of our Premier League games so far and has helped the Blues to the top spot in the league.
Chelsea have 20 points from eight games, the same as Liverpool and Manchester City. The Blues are unbeaten in all competitions this season and have a tough task once the players return from the international break.
We face struggling Manchester United at Stamford Bridge before games against Bate Borisov and Burnley in October.
The German has been excellent at the back with David Luiz and hopefully, he will come back before the United tie. The Red Devils did win their last game and eased some pressure off their manager.
Rudiger has become the first-choice central defender with Luiz, under Maurizio Sarri, and the German needs to be fit for the rest of the campaign if we are going to set the pace for the others to follow.
