Chelsea star Marcos Alonso has signed a new deal with the club. The club confirmed that the 27-year-old left-back is staying at Stamford Bridge till 2023.
Alonso had signed for the Blues in 2016 and was an important member of the side that picked up the Premier League title a couple of years ago.
The Spaniard also helped us to the FA Cup win last season and was happy at extending his stay. The former Fiorentina man was quoted as saying:
“I am so happy to stay here longer and to keep playing for one of the best teams in the world. It’s been a very good two seasons and I am looking forward to more.”
The 27-year-old is possibly the best left-back in the country and a number of the Chelsea fans were quick to acknowledge the good work he has done over the years.
