Hazard and Azpilicueta return: Predicted 4-3-3 Chelsea XI to face West Ham United

Chelsea started their Europa League campaign with a win and they must continue their perfect start to the Premier League campaign by securing three points at West Ham United.

The Hammers produced a quality display against Everton last week and they could take advantage of our Thursday night fixture.

Willian got the only goal of the night but there was some concern over Pedro, as the Spaniard left the field with a shoulder injury.

The Blues were further hit by a flight cancellation (h/t Evening Standard) and that might affect our side for the clash on Sunday.

Maurizio Sarri did mix the squad about in Greece and here is our predicted line-up for the game against the Hammers.

Predicted Chelsea XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Maurizio Sarri

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK)

It was a surprise seeing the Spaniard start against PAOK but he should be in the goal at London Stadium.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB)

The right-back didn’t start in our win over the Greek side and should return to the XI to face the Hammers.

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

The German started in our Europa League clash and should keep his place in the team for the game on Sunday.

David Luiz (CB)

Luiz has seen a revival in his Chelsea career under Sarri and should return to the XI for the London derby.

Marcos Alonso (LB)

Alonso was another player who started on Thursday but should keep his place in the team for Sunday’s clash.

N’Golo Kante (CM)

The French midfielder is playing an advanced role under Sarri and is yet to find his feet in this position.

Jorginho (CM)

The former Napoli midfielder has adjusted well to Premier League life and is one of the first names on the sheet for the Italian manager.

Mateo Kovacic (CM)

The Croatia midfielder started against PAOK on Thursday and should be back in action despite the issue with the flight.

Willian (RW)

Willian might receive the nod ahead of Pedro, as the Brazilian scored in his last two games for the Blues.

Olivier Giroud (ST)

The Frenchman has looked great this season and should replace Alvaro Morata, who wasn’t quite up to it against the Greek side.

Eden Hazard (LW)

The Belgian was rested in the win over PAOK but he must continue scoring after his hat-trick against Cardiff last week.
