Real Madrid have cooled their interested in Eden Hazard and are now looking at Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, according to AS (h/t Mirror).
Madrid have been looking to replace Ronaldo, who joined Juventus in the summer and had targeted Hazard. However, the rather staggering £178m price tag on the Belgian has seen them turn their attention away from the Chelsea man. The report claims that Cavani would be open to a move to the Spanish capital.
There is more to the Cavani story as the report claims that PSG star Neymar is unhappy playing alongside the Uruguayan hit-man and that could be reason enough for the French side to go ahead with the sale.
How much Real pay is another story but this is some great news for us as we would be able to keep hold of one of the stars of the Premier League.
Maurizio Sarri at the helm with a fit and firing Hazard would be brilliant for us in the coming season. The Italian does play an attacking brand of football and that would suit the Belgian perfectly.

After a wonderful World Cup where he was probably the best player on the pitch, Hazard could be the difference for us as we look to break into the top-four.
