Chelsea are willing to make a move for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey should he not sign a new deal at the Emirates, according to the Daily Mail.
The Welsh midfielder will enter the final year of his contract at the start of next season and should there be a problem with this, Chelsea will step into the fray.
The report also claims that we are willing to spend £30million for the Welsh star. Arsenal manager Unai Emery is still confident that the Welshman will extend his stay at the club but wants the contract issue sorted before the start of the season.
The Gunners have brought in a number of players as they start a new era under Emery while we have only brought in Rob Green and Jorginho.
Ramsey might be a decent option for us given his ability but it would be tough to pry him away from Arsenal, as he is a crucial player for the Gunners.
Maurizio Sarri has his work cut out as we will have to play extremely well to make it back to the Champions League. We have to bring in a few quality players to challenge the likes of Manchester City.

It will be interesting to see how we go about the final two weeks of the transfer window and it would be nice for the fans if the club signs new players. It will be a tough campaign for us if we don’t bring in new faces.
