Alvaro Morata could remain at Chelsea this season as the Telegraph claims that the Blues have not even made a bid for Gonzalo Higuain.
The report claims that even though Morata only joined us last season, he wants a return to the Serie A where he spent a couple of seasons with Juventus.
However, the Turin giants had made an enquiry for the Chelsea forward but are not interested in him any more since they ended up signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. There is interest from AC Milan too but they are struggling to match the £58m that Chelsea want for Morata.
Higuain is reportedly available for sale but he too prefers a switch to Milan rather than Chelsea. However, Milan are having problems regarding Juve’s valuation of the Argentine as the Turin club want £54m.
Maurizio Sarri does want the Argentine striker at Stamford Bridge but the Chelsea management do not want to break the bank and sign an ageing forward.
Things do not look all that great for us but this could be a great chance for Morata to show what he can do under a new manager.
The Spaniard saw his starting spot taken away by Olivier Giroud but Sarri could work his magic with Morata and we could finally see the best of the former Real Madrid man at the Bridge.

Morata is younger than Higuain and has the potential to be great. We just have to work on his confidence to get him firing at the start of the season.
