Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a wanted man and the Evening Standard reports that his former team Crystal Palace want him at the club next season.
The Chelsea youngster spent last season on loan at the Eagles and Palace believe that the player would be available on loan once again next season.
The 22-year-old is away with the England side in Russia for the World Cup and had spoken about wanting to play more minutes in the coming season.
Loftus-Cheek was one of the most impressive players under Roy Hodgson at Palace and helped the side avoid relegation, helping them finish 11th in the table.
It was this form that helped him bag a spot in the World Cup side and the youngster did perform well in the second game against Panama, which England won 6-1.
The report also claims that Palace would face a lot of competition from Everton and Newcastle United for Loftus-Cheek but believe they are ahead of the queue since the Englishman enjoyed his time at Selhurst Park last season.
Any decision from the Englishman will only be made after the World Cup and it would make sense for us to loan him out, unless we can guarantee that he will be a starter for the side.
We should keep him on the books as he is developing really well and maybe another season in the top-flight will bring him closer to being the finished product, which would be great for us in the long-run.
