Marko Arnautovic scored his first West Ham goal, also his first in eight months, and that was enough to hand David Moyes his first win as West Ham United manager. With the goal, Arnautovic became West Ham’s 140th different player to score in the Premier League; only Spurs (142) have seen a higher number of players score for them in the competition.
The early shocker for the fans was the fact that Bakayoko was named in the starting XI despite the fact that he performed poorly in Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Atletico.
After scoring the goal in as early as the 6th minute, Hammers did the obvious; deployed 8, 9, 10 men at the back. Their task was to cut down the threat of Eden Hazard at times and the defensive setup was up to the mark, to say the least. Chelsea could hardly create a goalscoring opportunity in the second half, hence some early substitutions were perfectly evident.
0 – Chelsea didn’t attempt a single shot on target in the second half against West Ham United, this despite having 71.8% of possession after the break. Frustrated. pic.twitter.com/tgQBptCSKw

This time again, Bakayoko failed to impress one and all and was rightly substituted for Pedro, while Willian was thrown on to the field as well. The likes of Alvaro Morata, N’Golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas had their fair share of chances but were unable to beat Adrian – who started the fixture ahead of Joe Hart. Talking numbers, Chelsea enjoyed the majority of the possession (69%) and attempted 19 shots on goal, however, only two of those were on target.
The closest Chelsea came to scoring was when Alvaro Morata received the ball into the area. All he had to do was to beat Adrian with a precise finish but the Spaniard fired his shot into the side netting and even Antonio Conte was left red-faced.
This is a major blow for us as we have squandered a perfect opportunity to go level on points with Manchester United. With that being done, Chelsea fans – for all right reasons – were left frustrated and this is how they reacted to Bakayoko’s yet another poor showing:
Chelsea fans in September: Bakayoko is an upgrade on Matic.
Lol seeing them drag Matic’s upgrade themselves is sweet music to the ears

If you ever compared Bakayoko to Pogba 😑😑 SARS will visit you this week…….

Every time Chelsea plays , Bakayoko trends.
He must be an elite player.
Just joking , he’s fucking shit pic.twitter.com/OKdyiNKagr

I knew something was a bit off about this Bakayoko.
Chelsea tabled a bid, no other club dragged him with them.
Monaco didn’t demand for more money.Smh.

Haven’t been impressed by Tiémoué Bakayoko this season at all. Looks timid in Chelsea’s midfield. They sure do miss Nemanja Matić, whether they want to admit it or not.
— Liam Canning (@LiamPaulCanning) December 9, 2017
I assume we’ll never hear or see a comparison between Nemanja Matic & Timoe Bakayoko any time soon? Matic dropping 10/10s weekly, Baka on the other hand… well, 3/10s max!

When Chelsea realise Tiémoué Bakayoko is not better at anything than Nemanja Matic and they strengthened a key rival by selling the Serbian. pic.twitter.com/0SdpVI3iSX

“Bakayoko is only 22. He’s made a few mistakes but he’s still young so you can’t say he’s a downgrade on Matic. He’ll only get better” pic.twitter.com/btXMouPBzF

Feel so sad for Bakayoko. Man was enjoying his life in Monaco, but Chelsea decided to bring him to the EPL to expose him. Aquilani with dyed hair.

Conte should fuck off!!! Underestimated West Ham and started with lesbians like Cahill, Zappacosta and Bakayoko, and he has paid dearly for it. I hope he gets the P45 too. fucking fucktard!

When I die, I want Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Alonso and Morata to bury me so that they can let me down one last time.

Here at London Stadium where Chelsea fans have booed summer signing Tiemoué Bakayoko off the field and a large section have launched bananas at him. #WHUCHE
— Ahmed Khan (@MrAhmedKhan) December 9, 2017
Remember when bakayoko changed his Twitter location to Manchester to make it look like we gonna hijack the deal. Wonderment

Willian, Bakayoko, Zappacosta, Alonso are finished.#cfc

BENCHED CAHILL AND BAKAYOKO WE WILL BE FINE.

When will Conte realize that Bakayoko and Zappacosta is a waste and deserves no place in the Chelsea starting lineup
— Paul Word Uma 🌍 (@iampaulword) December 9, 2017
Conte doesn’t trust Bats eventhough he’d 100% had scored one of Morata’s chances. He needs to be ruthless and bench morata and Bakayoko but clearly thinks he has no better options. They’ve been horrible recently and have cost us points in numerous matches. It’s soo infuriating.
