Twitter Goes Crazy As Beast Midfielder Edges Closer To Chelsea Move

Chelsea fans finally have something to cheer about as Daily Telegraph have exclusively quoted that the Blues have agreed a £39.7 million plus add-ons fee with AS Monaco over the transfer of their 22-year-old midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko.

The aforementioned source has further added that the 22-year-old beast midfielder will have his Chelsea medical on Friday. Initially, the French outfit were reluctant on selling Bakayoko and quite rightly so, as they have already lost Bernardo Silva to Manchester City while few more key players also tipped to leave their club this Summer. This time around, however, a deal has been agreed and the 22-year-old will be arriving in London soon.

While all this has been a good news for Chelsea and their fans, Bakayoko is well expected to miss out the club’s pre-season preparations and also some of the Premier League games because he underwent a keyhole surgery on his knee at the end of the last season and is in his recovery stage.

Till date, it is still unknown whether he needs further surgery or not, but it is certain that it will take time for him to return to full training. An important decision hangs up with Antonio Conte as it will be him who will decide whether Bakayoko will travel to China and Singapore or will remain in England to achieve full fitness.

In case you don’t know, Bakayoko will be Chelsea’s third signing following the arrival of Willy Caballero and Antonio Rudiger. Chelsea fans are quite excited about the news and here is how they are reacting to it:
