The London club Chelsea are preparing themselves for the next showdown of the Premier League as they will be travelling to the KC Stadium to face the newly promoted side, Hull City. Well, Chelsea does need a game to lift their spirit up as they are without a win in last 3 games. The first one was a draw to Swansea which followed up by a 1-2 defeat at hands of Liverpool at Stamford Bridge and after that, a humiliation at Emirates.
This is an important fixture for the Blues, as this might give them an opportunity to come back on track. So, here is the Predicted lineup for Chelsea:
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois-
The Belgian was once touted as one of the best young talents in the industry, but a series of inconsistent performance has raised some eyebrows. He should start communicating in a more efficient way with the back four and should do better during the one on one situations. Regardless of all these, he is expected to start the game as he is still the best GK in the Chelsea squad.
Defence: Azpilicueta; Terry; Luiz; Alonso-
A change in the back four is expected in this fixture. The players like Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill were left humiliated by the pace and trickery of Arsenal, and they might be dropped this time around.
The Spanish full-back, Cesar Azpilicueta, might get deployed on the right flank to replace Ivanovic. The Spaniard is super consistent for the side and his work rate is really good.
According to the reports, John Terry might mark his return to the starting lineup against the Tigers. Terry, who missed the fixtures against Liverpool and Arsenal, has started training again and the manager might finally use him against the Tigers. His partner will most probably be the new arrival, David Luiz.
On the left side, the new signing from Fiorentina, Marcos Alonso, might mark his first start for the side. He was introduced as a sub against Arsenal, but he is yet to make a start in the League so far.
Holding Midfielder: N’Golo Kante-
Kante had a very forgettable day against the London rivals last weekend and was rightly criticized for that. He was completely at fault for the third goal of the Gunners, as he let Ozil free right from the middle of the park. Overall, it was not Kante’s day, but he needs to keep his head high for the next game to get a better result.
Attacking Four: Willian; Matic; Oscar; Hazard-
The presence of Willian was seen nowhere at Emirates. Though his work-rate is amazing, his contribution in the final third has been lacking up until now.
Matic too had an average game, but he has really picked up the momentum under Conte. He was touted to leave the club this summer, but he has earned his place all by himself and will be a sure starter for the next game. His central partner would most probably be Oscar. The Brazilian was dropped last time out and the club paid the price.
Hazard, just like Matic, had an average game but he has too much class to get dropped for one or two bad games. He was really a threat in the opening games of the league and his link-up play with Costa was worth praising. He just needs to find that much-needed consistency and that might do the trick for the Belgian winger.
Striker: Diego Costa-
He has been a real strike force for the side since the beginning of the season. As mentioned earlier, he was the only bright spot for the Blue in recent weeks. A sure starter.
