Chelsea target Nikola Maksimovic is set to make a switch to Napoli this summer, having forced a transfer move out of Torino. Like every other Chelsea link up this summer, the Blues pursuit of the player this summer too has gone fruitless.
The player is set to head to Napoli on a deal worth €25m with €1m plus bonuses. Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio states that Napoli offered former Empoli midfielder Mirko Valdidiori to Torino. However, the report claims that the talks of a swap deal was what held the move so far.
Chelsea have so far brought in two new players in the squad and are close to securing a move for Marcos Alonso and are also planning on a deadline day swoop of Marcelo Brozovic. The Blues have also been linked with former defender David Luiz and Angelo Ogbonna from West Ham United.
