Liverpool’s Legend Names The Real Culprit Behind Chelsea’s Defeat Against Arsenal

The Blue half of London, Chelsea, recently suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at hands of Arsenal and according to the Liverpool’s legend Jamie Carragher, Gary Cahill was the Chelsea culprit, not David Luiz.

Carragher, who has more than 700 appearances for Liverpool to his name, cleared David Luiz of any blame for Chelsea’s poor defending on Saturday evening. Carragher was very spectacle of Luiz’s performance in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Leicester City in the League Cup third round on Tuesday night, but he has now blamed Cahill for that horror show at the Emirates.

It was Cahill, whose poor back pass allowed Alexis Sanchez to break the deadlock with a deft finish over Thibaut Courtois. Cahill was caught in a similar situation against Swansea City, but that time, the former Bolton defender blamed the referee, but this time around, he has no one to blame for.

Just three minutes after the first goal, the Blues found themselves lagging two goals behind and as the game was approaching the half-time, the former Real Madrid man, Mesut Ozil, added the misery by scoring the third goal of the game.

And ex-Liverpool defender Carragher admitted that it was Cahill and not Luiz who was at fault against Arsene Wenger’s side.
