Chelsea winger Mohammed Salah has left the Stamford Bridge and has completed his permanent move to the Italian side AS Roma.
Salah joined Chelsea in January 2014 from Basel, but spent most of his time in loan deals at Fiorentina and Roma.
The player impressed the Italian outfit during his loan period last season, which led to the club signing the Egyptian on a permanent move to the club. Although the player’s move has been announced officially, but the Blues have not disclosed the transfer fee involved.
A statement on Chelsea’s website read:
“Chelsea Football Club thanks Mohamed for his service and wishes him well for the future.”
A transfer to Roma will be a good decision for Salah as he is not the kind of player that fits into Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s plans, and further he has spent amazing loan spells at Italy thus adding to the fact that it will work out for his career if he stays at the club on a permanent deal.
