West Ham United are in the market for a striker and if reports are to be believed, the Hammers have identified Chelsea’s Loic Remy as their potential transfer target to fill the void.
Andy Carroll’s latest injury has gotten Hammers’ manager Slaven Billic desperate to bring in a striker in his squad, before the close of the transfer window.
The manager did admit that he is interested in signing Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony, however, they now seem to have turned their attention at Remy.
According to reports from Sky Sports, the Hammers have already begun talks with Chelsea over a loan move concerning the player, the report further claims that Chelsea are willing to let go of the player only if his move is a permanent one.
The 29-year-old striker joined the Blues two years back, however, he made only 32 appearances for the Blues having failed to make a good impression at the Bridge. Further, the player’s game time is expected to be greatly compromised with Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi being the first choice strikers under Antonio Conte.
