Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen on bolstering his squad for the next season as he looking to bring in a backup goalkeeper if the Asmir Begovic decides to leave the Bridge this summer.
The player has been heavily linked with a move out of the Blues this summer and AC Milan are expected to be his most likely destination. And reports claim that an ideal replacement for Begovic will be Dynamo Zagreb’s Eduardo.
The 33-year-old player was earlier set to join Sporting Lisbon, however, reports suggest that Zagreb backed out of the deal at the last minute and now the same has turned advantageous for Conte who may be weighing up his move to land the player in the Bridge.
Blues currently have Thibaut Courtois, Begovic and Jamal Blackman in the squad, however, Begovic’s desire to get a regular starting first team football may lead him to leave Chelsea.
