Chelsea have been linked with Real Madrid’s centre-forward Alvaro Morata for some time now and according to reports, the Spanish club is willing to give Chelsea a chance to sign the player if they agree on a swap deal involving Eden Hazard’s move to the Bernabeu.
Chelsea are one of the three clubs interested in signing Morata the other two being Arsenal and Manchester United and according to the reports from the Daily Mail, Real are offering Chelsea a swap deal involving Morata and Eden Hazard as a part of the £35m swap deal.
Hazard has not been in all that great a form this season, having not being able to score in 11 months last season after finally scoring two goals against Bournemouth in April. While the swap deal is on the table for the Blues to accept or reject the same, it will be interesting to see how things pan out with Morata’s transfer move this summer.
