Chelsea are set to rebuild a strong team capable of challenging the title next season under Italian manager Antonio Conte. The Blues have been linked with many high profile players so far into the summer and now the recent player to be linked with Chelsea is James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.
The Columbian player is considered to be one of the most dangerous midfielders in the game currently, however Zinedine Zidane replacing Rafael Benitez as the new manager did not work in favor of the 24 year old player.
Thus, Rodriguez is looking for a move out and Chelsea need to add into their attacking options to boost their midfield, thus the move may work for both the parties involved in the deal, although Blues are set to face strong competition from Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain for the player’s signature.
The Blues are in the verge of completing the signing of Michy Batshuayi and Chelsea fans will surely hope that the Blues would sign Rodriguez as the second player to land at the Stamford Bridge.
