Chelsea has 28 of their youngsters out on loan and it is expected that some of them will never return to the club to join the first team.
Stipe Perica’s Udinese move, a 20 year old prospect, is one such incident. The player spent the last season at the Serie A club and now it has been confirmed that the player has made the move permanent. Perica did not manage to get a single game at Stamford Bridge but has impressed Udinese enough to offer him a permanent role at the club. He has made 22 appearances for the Serie A side and has scored 4 goals.
Perica joined Chelsea in 2013 from NK Zadar after the Under-20 World Cup. After joining Chelsea he spent a season on loan at NAC Breda before moving to Udinese on loan. The Serie A club had the option to make the loan move a permanent deal and had decided to act on it.
