Chelsea Transfer Roundup: Another Deal Completed, Chelsea Star Unsure About His Future And More

Chelsea transfer this summer seems like it is on hold as the Blues so far have not signed any player into the squad, although, the Blues did embark on their global loan send offs.

The Blues player Lewis Baker is set  to head to Vitesse Arnhem the second time this summer as he has agreed to a second loan spell at Vitesse.

He said: “There was interest from several other clubs last summer.

“But, together with my family and Chelsea, I have discussed the options and we all believed that another year at Vitesse was the best option.”

Further Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois may be staying at the Stamford Bridge for the next season The player earlier was reportedly looking for an escape route from the Stamford Bridge this summer as a result of his sour relationship with the goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon. However, reports from the Sportza states that the player is now unsure about ending his career at the Blues this summer.

He told Sportza: “The future? It’s hard to say.

“That’ll never happen, I don’t think I will end my career there.”

Radja Nainggolan has been linked with a move to the Blues heavily until the last few weeks, however, while the Blues are still keen on signing the player, they have stopped pursuing the Belgium international.

Belgium boss Mark Wilmots has explained that Chelsea transfer target Radja Nainggolan is a smoker.

He told Belgian outlet Sportza: “Yes, he smokes. That’s a habit, and in France and Italy many do it.

“If he needs it, I’m not going to stop him. I am flexible about it. It is his own body and as long as he performs on the field, I have no problem.”
