Juan Cuadrado failed to make his mark at Chelsea, while he was at Stamford Bridge. The player then was loaned to Juventus who too were interested in signing him from Fiorentina when Chelsea bought him. Now with his future uncertain, there are reports that Barcelona are interested in signing the player in the summer.
The Blaugrana are set to lose Dani Alves and Javier Mascherano next season and obviously looking for a replacement. While Cuardrado is mainly a winger he could double up as wing back like Dani Alves as well. Juventus wants to sign him on a permanent deal but is looking for a cut-price offer and Antonio Conte has not yet decided if Cuadrado will be part of his plan or not.
Currently Cuadrado is with the national team for Copa America and when he was asked about Barcelona’s alleged interest in him, he did mention that it was “Nice to hear”.
