3 Reasons Why Chelsea Should Sign This Premier League Striker – The Right Man To Complement Hazard And Willian

Chelsea’s newly appointed Italian gaffer Antonio Conte is doing wonders in the ongoing European Championship. His side recently defeated the reigning champions Spain with utter humiliation and now, the players would be looking forward to replicate the same form in their next clash, i.e, against the World Champions, Germany.

Soon after his national duty, the Italian will be travelling to London to begin his proceedings with Chelsea. Just due to his excellence in Euro, the expectations have reached the skies. We are pretty sure that almost every Chelsea fan will be feeling a sense of optimism, and to be perfectly honest, we feel Conte is the ideal personnel to guide the Blues.

Now, soon after his arrival, the manager will have to handle the transfer speculations because the side needs new faces desperately. The London side haven’t made any signings yet, and has also lost Pjanic to Juventus, Morata to Real Madrid and it seems like, they will now be losing their long term target Radja Nainggolan as Roma’s president has stated that the Belgian will be staying.

As stated above, Chelsea does need reinforcement and they will have to act fast. Now, many reports from the English media are stating that the 23-year-old Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is being proffered by Chelsea. The Belgian will surely be a great addition to the squad and here, we give you three reasons to justify the statement:

  1. Urgency-

Besides Diego Costa, Chelsea do not have any concrete option. They surely have the young academy graduates, but we are pretty sure Conte will be looking to sign an experienced player, and if that is the case, then Lukaku is the perfect option.

The Spanish striker Diego Costa has been rumoured to leave the Bridge this summer and even if he is not, Chelsea do need a striking force in the lineup. Chelsea are in desperate need to sign a striker and as the Evertonian has said that he will consider leaving Goodison Park, Chelsea might become his next destination. Everton might demand big money, but the striker is worth every single penny.

  1. Long Term Option-

Signing Lukaku will end Chelsea’s worry for the future. The 23-year-old has his entire career ahead of him, and could easily become the ‘Next Drogba’ for the Blues. To make it better, Conte will be there alongside him to overcome his inabilities.

Chelsea will miss the Champions League football next season, but with Conte at the helm, they will surely qualify for the Champions League in the up coming seasons, and that will fire up Lukaku’s career as a Chelsea man. The 23-year-old is already a well-known figure in England, and joining one of the best clubs in Europe will only make him better than ever.

  1. Premier League Experience-

Lukaku started his Premier League career from 2011 with Chelsea and have been playing in the league since then. We see many players failing to cope with the high intensity of the Premier league, but with Lukaku having all the experience of the League, he will not take time to settle down at the Bridge.

Everton had a tough season, but even after that, the Belgian managed to score 25 goals all by himself and also bagged 6 assists. Imagine what kind of damage he would do if lined up with Hazard and Willian. Lukaku is a great finisher and is also known for his sprinting techniques and therefore, he could easily complement the pace of both the wingers.
