Chelsea midfield ace Cesc Fabregas may move to Real Madrid in the summer. According to Portuguese media Don Balon, the report has shocked the fans and transfer market media alike.
According the report the Madrid president Fiorentino Perez is a big fan of the Spaniard and may sanction a move to buy the player from Chelsea. Fabregas moved from Barcelona to London two years ago and while he impressed initially, he has had a pretty indifferent season this year. For most of the season he has been ineffective and it is understood that when the incoming boss Antonio Conte arrives in July, he will want to stamp his authority by bringing in his style of players. Fabregas may become excessive requirement at that time.
The player is also believed to be interested to move back to Spain after a dull season. Also, given the fact that Chelsea will not be present at Europe next season be a factor in the player’s decision.
