Chelsea face Liverpool in the second last game for both the sides at Anfield and like always, it will be an interesting contest between the two sides. The two sides have been involved in some enthralling matches and Wednesday’s encounter have all the elements to be a blockbuster game. With the game being Liverpool’s last home game, the reds will look to end their season on a high.

Jurgen Klopp has turned the fortunes of Liverpool and the same is expected from the next blues manager, Antonio Conte. Liverpool are unbeaten in 12 of their last home games and it will take a lot for Chelsea to secure all three points at Anfield. The blues’ record at Anfield is abysmal with just 12 victories in 90 years and this group of Chelsea players if on song, can do some damage to Klopp’s men. Let’s take a look at how Chelsea will line up against the Reds on Wednesday:

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois

Chelsea no.1 is rumored to move to a new place in the summer and if that has some truth in it, the Belgian will look to end his Chelsea career on a high with a splendid performance against Liverpool.

Right back: Cesar Azpilicueta

The Spaniard has been one of the few consistent players for the blues and will look to deliver a strong answer to his critics.

Center back: Gary Cahill

Cahill has struggled for form this campaign and was at fault for the one of the goals in the game against Spurs and will look to make amends against the reds.

Center back: Branislav Ivanovic

Ivanovic is fighting for his future at Stamford Bridge and has always performed well against Liverpool and will look to have another good game.

Left back: Baba Rehman

The youngster has impressed everyone in the fullback role and must be ready to nullify the threat of Lallana and Clyne on the right flank.

Central midfield: Nemanja Matic

Matic has struggled for form, but has to be played against the side who has scored most goals in 2016 to shield the defense.

Central midfield: John Obi Mikel

Mikel has his work cut out against the attacking talent of the reds.

Left wing: Eden Hazard

The Belgian has found his scoring boots again and will look to win the game for the blues against the weakened Liverpool’s defense in which some names will be rested to stay fresh for the Europa League final.

Right wing: Willian

The Brazilian has been consistent for the blues and will look to end the season on a high.

Attacking midfield: Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas needs to have a good game if the blues want a victory at Anfield.

Striker: Diego Costa

The Spaniard has been good in patches and hasn’t looked as convincing as last campaign. Still, he has scored 16 goals this campaign, which is decent considering the season that Chelsea have endured.
