With just two appearances ever since his arrival to Chelsea on a short-term loan, Alexandre Pato is likely to return to Corinthians. Chelsea will surely have the option to have Pato permanently this summer, however, no official declaration has been made so far. The Corinthians on the other hands has stated that they still have the contract with Pato and will honor that if he is not wanted by Chelsea.
In his very few appearances for Chelsea, Pato has scored one goal. The 26 years old Brazilian striker did not get much game this summer as he needed time to get back to full fitness. On the other hand, Coach Guss Hiddink preferred Bertrand Traore over Pato when Costa is not playing.
It is indeed a disappointing time for Alexandre ever since his loan deal with Chelsea, however, he is reported to admit that he hopes to be continuing to play for Chelsea as he wants to revive his Europe football Career.
