According to TMW, Chelsea have contacted Javier Pastore of PSG about a potential move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Antonio Conte is about to take over the club in the summer and as the Italian looks to rebuild the team Pastore is seen as a good option to boost the Chelsea attack next season. The Blues have had a horrible season in over a decade and will want to avoid repeating such results in the next season.
The player has been pretty inconsistent this season and the interest from Chelsea for Pastore is a little surprising. The 26-year-old has appeared in only 14 league games and have managed to score only 2 goals so far. Moreover his form has been inconsistent pretty much throughout his five-year stint at Chelsea. Will the change of environment rejuvenate him and make him mercurial as he was earlier? Chelsea happens to think so.
