Diego Costa is reported to be interested to leave Chelsea in the summer. This news have been doing the rounds in media for quite some time. While many of the European clubs are watching the development between the player and the club, two Chinese clubs have jumped into action.
As per Sunday Times, two unnamed Chinese clubs are set to offer Chelsea upward of £70million for Diego Costa. With Atletico Madrid also interested to take him back to Vicente Calderon, it has actually complicated the matter for the La Liga team. While going back to Atletico Madrid is easy for the 27 year old striker, the temptation of having his salary increased by more than two fold is also very high. The Chinese teams are said to be offering the forward £4 million a year.
The player has 11 goals and six assist this season but was in a difficult stage before the firing of Jose Mourinho.
