Chelsea’s Predicted Lineup To Play Against Bournemouth- RLC To Start Again

The season is coming to an end soon and only four matches are remaining for Chelsea to finish the season on a high. Chelsea needs to win all of their games to reach a Europa League spot and European football is a must for the stature of a big club like Chelsea. Guus Hiddink has done a decent job till now and will look to end his stint at Stamford Bridge on a good note.

Chelsea will make a trip to the southern coast to face Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium. The cherries have exceeded everyone’s expectations and are safe from relegation against all odds. Eddie Howe has done a tremendous job and deserves respect for his work. They have beaten Chelsea once this season when Glen Murray struck a late winner to pile more misery on Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea are playing to restore some pride but a lot of main players are still out injured. John Terry is still suffering from an Achilles problem while Thibaut Courtois is suspended. Kurt Zouma, Radamel Falcao, Loic Remy and Eden Hazard will all miss the game. For the cherries, Adam Smith and Harry Arter remain the only absentees. Let’s take a look at the predicted lineup for the game against Bournemouth :

Goalkeeper : Asmir Begovic

Courtois receive a straight red card in the last game and to replace him will be his understudy, Begovic. He has to play a big role if a clean sheet is needed.

Right back : Cesar Azpilicueta

The ever present Spaniard will have to improve his showing after the debacle against Man City.

Centre back : Gary Cahill

With the threat of Joshua King and Callum Wilson, Cahill will have his work cut out.

Centre back : Branislav Ivanovic

The Serbian is a leader in defense and has to perform like one.

Left back : Baba Rehman

Rehman will have his work cut out against Matt Ritchie and has to contribute offensively too.

Centre midfield : John Obi Mikel

Last few matches of his Chelsea career and he should make full use of it by performing well.

Centre midfield : Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas has enjoyed his role under Hiddink and is in good form and will look to continue that.

Right wing : Willian

Certainly the best player for the blues this season. His efficiency will be needed to threaten the cherries defense.

Attacking midfield : Ruben Loftus-Cheek

The youngster has to provide an assist or a goal to justify his place in the team and RLC is very much capable of a great game.

Striker : Diego Costa

Costa will look to end the season on a high and will look to add to his goal tally.
