Three Best Possible Replacements For Eden Hazard: Featuring An Arsenal Speedster And Two French Stars

PFA Player of the year for the 2014-15 season, Eden Hazard has come under the scrutiny of fans and experts alike. After being the best player in England last season, this time, it is altogether a very different story for the Belgian.

After suffering a dip in form, Hazard has been out of touch since then. This doesn’t mean that he isn’t trying to give 100% for the Club, he is giving it all but it is just not happening for the blues star.

Eden Hazard

In this disastrous season, when the fans were crying out for a Hero to take them out of this rot, Eden Hazard had a golden chance to step up and enter Chelsea’s folklore. Instead, the fans have turned on him since the beginning of the season and after the sacking of Jose Mourinho, they even termed a rat.

His relationship with the former manager didn’t help his cause. The shirt swapping incident at half-time with Angel Di Maria yesterday caused the fans to boo him and it may be the final nail in his coffin.

Eden Hazard will look for a new challenge this summer with many sides interested in him. Chelsea will get a good amount by selling the Belgian and will have to look for his replacement straight away.

Let’s take a look at the men who can replace Eden Hazard at Chelsea:

1. Antonio Griezmann:

It is being said that Roman Abramovic is personally in pursuit of the French star. Griezmann has been in scintillating form for Atletico this season and it seems the Frenchman is the perfect replacement for Hazard. Antonio has himself said that he wants to test himself in the Premier League and there seems no better option than at Chelsea. At 24 years of age, his prime years are ahead of him.

2. Alexander Lacazette:

The Lyon frontman has represented France 10 times and has scored 10 goals for Lyon this season. He is a long-term target of the Club and this seems to be the perfect time for the Club to bring the Frenchman at Stamford Bridge.

3. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain:

The future of the England international is uncertain at Arsenal and it seems the Chelsea board are interested in signing him. The youngster has loads of potential and he is not getting proper attention and chances at Arsenal. After the departure of Eden Hazard, this is the perfect opportunity for the Ox to step up and be the heir to the Belgian.
