Paraguayan winger Hernan Perez has said in an interview to La Nacion that he dreams of playing for Chelsea one day and doing everything in his ability to make that happen. Currently playing for Espanyol after moving from Villareal last summer, the player has scored six goals in 25 appearances so far this season.
The player has admitted that since his childhood he wanted to play in Premier League and if it was his decision then he would have chosen Chelsea over Real Madrid or Barcelona. After the interview the Espanyol fans were furious and the player had to defend his comments saying that it was a dream and he is totally dedicated to the Catalan club’s success.
Chelsea may face an exodus this summer and having player like Perez who are eager to join the Blues is a definite good news for the club. Only question is if the new manager will find these players suitable.
