Chelsea Poised To Sign Inter Milan Star On A Free Transfer

Antonio Conte wants to bring Andrea Ranocchia to Stamford Bridge in the summer. The current Italy national team manager will take reign of Chelsea in the summer and has already prepared a wishlist for his tenure.

Chelsea are set to lose John Terry as the veteran defender has announced that he will be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer. Also Kurt Zouma is injured and possibly will miss the start of the season next year. No doubt that Conte is looking to add fresh faces at the back.

The 28 year old Italian international has played under Conte in the national team. He is currently on loan at Sampdoria but his contract will expire in the summer. Italian media had reported that Liverpool tried to sign the player in January but a deal could not be completed. Now when Ranocchia’s contract runs out the Blues are expected to swoop in and snap up the player instead.
