Chelsea could sign their old player Romelu Lukaku in the summer, or at least may attempt to do so if they are really interested. Roberto Martinez has spoken to media about the power of money and said that if a bid comes in for Lukaku that will enable Everton to buy three to four players for the price of Lukaku then they will sell him.
This season Lukaku has been in fine form and scored 25 goals till date this season. The player struggled for game time when he was in Chelsea and after falling out of favor with Jose Mourinho was sold to Everton. Now after scoring 25 goals Chelsea are again interested to buy the player back.
Everton wants to keep Lukaku and has made it clear that only an enormous sum of transfer fee will make the deal happen. Chelsea are in need of a striker as there are rumors that Diego Costa may be leaving the club in the summer if Blues do not qualify for Champions League next season. Given their current position on the table we would not put our money on Chelsea making it to Champions League.
