Antonio Conte is one of the names that has been repeatedly coming up as a manager to take over Chelsea in the summer. Now La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Goal.com) has reported that Chelsea has agreed a deal with the Italian once his tenure with Italy is over.
The 46 year old will be the manager for Italy in Euro 2016 but post that he will take up the Chelsea assignment as the Blues look to win back their title. Currently Chelsea is in the bottom half of the table and are very unlikely to make it to Champions League next season. Conte has won three Serie A title with Juventus as a manager and the Champions League as a player in 1996.
Couple of other names that also has been linked with managing Chelsea next season are Diego Simeone and Massimo Allegri. However looks like Conte has been chosen as the one to take charge and Roman Abramovic will hope he can replicate the same success as he did with Juventus.
