Gary Neville has left a lot of disappointment at the sky sports after his decision to leave the punditry team to take charge of the Valencia. He worked as a sky sports pundit since the start of 2011- 2012. He played for the Manchester United for his entire career and then went on to join the sky sports and became popular for his Monday night football alongside Jamie Carragher.
Sky sports do not plan for a replacement as they believe they have enough talent in their hands to cover for Neville’s departure. However, the executives seem to have other plans. They are eyeing Frank Lampard for the same.
Considered to be one of the most talented midfielders of his generation Lampard was the ultimate goalscorer for Chelsea where he played for 13 years. Lampard’s guest appearance in the Monday Night Football early November had impressed the executives which may have lead the company rooting for him as the next pundit.
