£29m Chelsea Target, Loves The Premier League And Is Ready To Move

It seems like Shaktar Donetsk might be resolved to losing key man Alex Teixeira sooner or later. In a bid to possibly salvage as much as possible out of their key man, the club’s manager Mircea Lucescu has warned potential suitors that the price for the Brazilian will only increase come the end of the season. Teixeira himself has revealed that English Champions, albeit strugglers Chelsea are in talks with the Ukraian club to sign him and a deal could be completed soon.

The attacking midfielder has scored an incredible 26 goals so far this season. While he might not instantly solve all of Chelsea’s attacking woes, he would definitely be a welcome addition to the squad lacking motivation. His Shakhtar boss Mircea Lucescu said:

“Alex is now worth more than €40m (£29m). I think at the end of the season, were he to continue his performance, his value is €50m (£36.3m).”

His current manager further went on to compare him to Argentina and PSG super star Angel di Maria. The Brazilian is also a target for PSG and Juventus. However, it looks like he might have his eyes set on the English Champions time and again publicly admitting how much he would love to move to Stamford Bridge.
