As per reports now, former Chelsea and currently an Arsenal superstar, Petr Cech has said that he believes Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho hate each other because they’re quite similar. The keeper who spent a total of 11 years at Stamford Bridge, was part of both the spells of the Portuguese manager with the club and had a good relation with the Blues’ boss.
After completing his move to the Emirates in the summer transfer window, he got to know the French manager as well and has now made this claim.
The two bosses have always had their issues which were evident first in the Community Shield and things went from bad to worse as they met once again at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League with Diego Costa and Gabriel once again adding fuel to the burning fire.
However, talking about the pair recently, Cech told Sport magazine, “The similarity is that everybody wants to win. If you ask Jose Mourinho or Arsene Wenger if they want to win everything – yes they do.”
“You can see they don’t like losing games, and I think this is something you need to have in you if you want to be successful.”
When asked if this desire to win at all costs was the reason behind their frosty relationship, he replied: “It’s more a question for them. But, yes, sometimes two pluses doesn’t make a plus.”
