Former England Under-21 Boss Talks About Chelsea’s Title Chances

Former England Under-21 boss insists the confidence in the camp has gone.

Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, he said: “I don’t think the points gap is a problem, but I wonder where the confidence and the form is going to come from. That will be the real colossal thing.

“Can Jose Mourinho turn it around? Can he turn that spirit around within the group that they had in abundance last year?

“Confidence comes and goes in professional sport and, in Chelsea’s case at the moment, it’s gone. And when it’s coming back, who knows?”
