Blues travel up to French influenced St. James Park: The Odds

Chelsea are even money (2) shots with bet365 to bounce back to winning ways in their game against Newcastle at St James Park.
The Blues come into the game on the back of two lacklustre performances having been dumped out of the FA Cup by Brentford and having blow a two goal lead when drawing in the league against Reading.
However the stats are very good for them as far as this game is concerned as the Magpies have won just won just one of their last 11 Premier League games against them (W1 D4 L6).
The Blues have also won three and lost none of their last five league trips to St James and have conceded just one goal across those games.
That suggest that they should be able to win this if bringing their “A game” to the table, and they certainly have the class at their disposal to secure a vital three points.
Juan Mata has been involved in 18 goals (nine goals, nine assists) in 19 PL starts for Chelsea this season, and makes plenty of appeal in the golascorer markets.
He can be backed at 8.5 with Paddy Power to net the opener, and a tasty looking 3.3 with the same firm to net anytime.
Another bet that looks well worth considering is for Chelsea to score first at 1.62 with bet365 and Paddy Power as they have done so on more occasions than any other Premier League side this season (16).
In the correct score market there will be plenty sure to back Chelsea to win 1-0 at 8.5 with bet365 given that seven of their nine wins in all competitions against Fulham have come by the minimum margin.
However I fancy them to break that trend and win 2-0 and odds of 10 with bet365.
