No Robbin’ Arjen from Bayern, but Lavezzi could leave Napoli

It has been an interesting week for Chelseas transfer targets, after completing the signing of Marko Marin, two more targets have come out and stated their futures in the last few days.

Arjen Robben, whos side will face Chelsea in this months Champions League final, has signed an extension to his current deal, keeping him at the club until 2015, and silencing any talk of a move away from the Allianz Arena. There were rumours that he had had a bust up with fellow team-mate FranckCancel Ribery, but this news has dispelled any talk he may be unhappy there, and told the clubs official website “Ive always emphasised that I feel very, very settled in Munich and at FC Bayern. Two of my three children were born in Munich, and my family and I feel at home here”

Several English clubs were monitoring Robben, but now will stay until he is at least 31, but few would bet against Chelsea being mentioned when his contract does run out, as he spent three successful seasons at the Bridge, winning two Premier League trophies in his time in London.

However, it wasn’t all bad news, Napoli’s Ezequiel Lavezzi is set to leave the club, should a club meet his clause fee, which is rumoured to be around £27m.

Both Chelsea and Inter Milan are keen on the 26 year-old, and although Napoli are keen to keep their man, their club president Aurelio De Laurentiis announced “He wanted to have that clause inserted when he signed, so there’s a big chance it will be used at some point. Lavezzi is in my heart, but if he wants to leave, we will have to let him go if a team meets his buy-out clause”

Abramovich’s new manager will already know he will have a warchest to spend in the summer, and there is a high chance that Lavezzi might well be on the radar in the summer.
