Blues to sign Brondby youngster

Chelsea are set to sign Andreas Christensen, the 16-year-old Danish player currently plays for Brondby.

He is expected to sign a four-year contract at the end of the season, and with the player out of contract there will be no transfer fee involved but the Blues will compensate the Danish club.

Having been followed by the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, Christensen told Ekstrabladett, his reasons for choosing Chelsea are, “because they play the kind of football I like, and at the same time, they were the club that had the best plans for my footballing future.”

This is another sign that AVB is keen to continue to bring in young talent.
