Chelsea are battling with Arsenal for Jefferson Farfan’s signature according to talkSPORT.
The Schalke winger’s contract expires and at the end of the season and both clubs want to sign him.
The talented Peruvian joined the German club back in 2008 for £8m, and since then he’s played 135 times and score 32 goals.
Unfortunately he’s struggled this season with injury, but having recovered from a torn ligament he featured against Mainz during the weekend’s 1-1 draw.
Other clubs thought to be chasing the player include Italian giants Juventus and Inter.
