Terry considering legal advice

John Terry could take legal action after an image which had a very close resemblance to the Blues captain appeared on cigarette packets in India.

The blurred image looked like Terry, it appeared on the packets above a “smoking kills” warning but his representatives Elite Management have confirmed that no permission had ever been given for his image to be used in connection with anti-smoking in India.

Their statement read: “It’s been brought to our attention that an image of our client (Terry) has been used on some cigarette packaging without our consent or knowledge. We’ve now instructed our legal team to investigate this matter.”

If this does go to court it will add to his current legal situation in England where he is under investigation for racial comments towards Anton Ferdinand.
