Blues to go back in for Modric?

It is thought that Andre Villas-Boas is going to make another move for Luka Modric now that he has been given the green light to invest in new players.

The Portuguese manager failed to get his man in the summer and is keen to bring the Croatian international to Stamford Bridge.

After Chelsea’s interest it was believed that Modric demanded a move but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy refused to sell.

Tottenham have enjoyed an excellent start to the season, but the talented midfielder has recently been quoted as saying that he could more.

If Chelsea are to get their man then it will take a bid well in excess of £35m.
